After getting sick of using hand saws and borrowing an electric saw from my father-in-law, I decided to buy one for myself. I really dislike using hand saws. With a few things to do in the garden, like building a new gate, I chose this saw.
I thought it was cool to have a laser guide attached to it, which probably won me over, plus the fact that it’s a corded saw means you don’t need to worry about charging batteries, which I much prefer.
The saw comes with 6 different blades: 2 for cement, 2 for wood, and 2 for wood/plastic. I’ll probably only use the wood blades, but the others might come in handy someday.
A couple of things to note:
- Wear safety gloves: The blades are really sharp and can easily cut your hand.
- Blade attachment: When attaching the blades, screw them in anti-clockwise rather than the normal clockwise direction. I spent a couple of minutes thinking the threads were busted before figuring this out.
The saw functions smoothly and has a decent handle for gripping while sawing. The scale ruler is also very handy and screws tight so it won’t move while working.
Very happy with my purchase!
